A pair of observations of NGC 741
Owen's received some observations of his Galaxy of the Month for September 2016.
The first is from Mark Stuart on the night of the 11 September who managed to see NGC 741 easily with Averted Vision whilst NGC 742 was a bit more of a challenge as you can see from the notes on his sketch.
Andrew Robertson was out with his 600mm scope on the 9 September finding the NGC 741/742 pairing easy at x340.
